Public service officer grateful for cooperation
The Lee County annual Public Service Employment report has been completed. In 2011, 111 adults were ordered to complete 7,502 hours of public service, and 27 juveniles were ordered to complete 560 hours of public service.
The total hours successfully completed by adults in 2011 was 7,006 and 472 hours were successfully completed by juveniles; 1,173 adult hours were revoked for failure to comply with public service; 540 adult hours were transferred to another county.
Public service hours must be performed at a government agency or non-for-profit agency. The work sites provide work and supervision for those individuals ordered to do public service work.
