Presidential candidate not worthy of office

Newt Gingrich is not fit for office. He told his first wife on her hospital bed of his desire for divorce. When he learned his second wife had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, he called her on the telephone to announce he wanted a divorce. Then, on second thought, he told his second wife he wanted to stay married but also wanted to continue his surreptitious affair with Callista, now his third wife.

Gingrich was censured as speaker of the House, fined and charged with ethics violations. Recently, he angered his volunteer workers by taking time off for a cruise. All his volunteers then quit.

Gingrich has too many skeletons in his closet to be a president. He could become another Warren Harding. His nerve to continue to run for president amazes me. I’d want to hide under a rock if I had his baggage.

Seventy-four percent of South Carolina Christians voted for Gingrich the other day. What on earth were they thinking?
