Antaeus L. Simmons, 25, of Amboy; 7:15 p.m. Sunday at Amboy Family Restaurant; battery; taken to Lee County Jail.

Sterling Police

Gabriela M. Trujillo, 17, of Sterling; 9:22 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of East Lynn Boulevard; failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident; posted driver’s license.

Damien K. Martin, 21, of Rock Falls; 11:46 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of West Third Street; battery; given notice to appear in court.

Paige M. Nevills, 19, of Savanna; 6:31 p.m. Sunday at East Lynn Boulevard and 11th Avenue; no valid driver’s license; given notice to appear in court.

Rock Falls Police

Antoinnette Lopez, 24, of Rock Falls; 10:41 a.m. Saturday; operating an uninsured motor vehicle, disobeying a traffic device; posted driver’s license.

Jason Law, 30, of Rock Falls; 11:41 a.m. Saturday; driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle; given notice to appear in court. Arrested at the same time was Shelly Elgin, 25, of Rock Falls; permitting an unauthorized person to drive, unlawful display of registration; given notice to appear in court.

Roxanne Walters, 46, of Wyanet; 7:21 p.m. Saturday; operating an uninsured motor vehicle, speeding.

Jake Rodriquez, 18, of Rock Falls; 3:22 a.m. Sunday; possession of cannabis – 2.5 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, burglary; aid provided by Whiteside County Sheriff’s Department, who also charged Rodriquez with resisting and obstructing a peace officer after trying to run. Arrested at the same time was Bradey Hambley-Mendez, 18, of Rochelle; unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, burglary; both were taken to Whiteside County Jail.

Jack L. Vance, 56, of Le Claire, Iowa; 9:15 a.m. Friday at U.S. Route 30 and Interstate 88; Rock Island County warrant – failure to appear – domestic battery; bonded out.

Penny J. Schmidt, 23, of Sterling; 1:18 a.m. Saturday at her home; Clinton County, Iowa, warrant – unlawful possession of methamphetamine, Ogle County warrant – failure to appear – unlawful possession of cannabis, unlawful possession of a controlled substance – cocaine; taken to Whiteside County Jail. Arrested at the same time was Marcus S. Malone, 23, of Rockford; unlawful possession of cannabis. Aid provide by Sterling Police.
