MOUNT CARROLL – A 21-year-old Savanna man who police say was driving drunk when he crashed into a car on Nov. 27, killing its driver, was indicted Tuesday on four counts of aggravated DUI and one of reckless homicide.

Riley Oostenryk faces 3 to 7 years in prison on the most serious charge, aggravated DUI. Reckless homicide carries 2 to 5 years.

According to the Carroll County Sheriff’’s Department, Donald Davis, 39, of Clinton, Iowa, died at the scene and his passenger, Jennifer Davis, 35, was injured in the crash that occurred around 11:22 a.m. on state Route 84 at Four Mile Road north of Thomson.
