Beverly Farwell
STERLING – Beverly J. Farwell, 79, of Sterling, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at Coventry Living Center, Sterling.
Beverly was born Oct. 5, 1930, in Sterling, the daughter of Harry and Leola (Wilson) Sulouff.
She was employed by Northwestern Steel and Wire Co., as a data processor for 28 years, retiring in 2000.
Beverly enjoyed cooking, crafts, gardening, playing lottery tickets, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Sterling.
Survivors include one daughter, Kelly Farwell of Aurora; three sons, Barry Farwell and Todd Farwell, both of Sterling, and Terry (Marty) Farwell of Mount Morris; one sister, Linda (Vernon) Long of Sterling; one brother, Theodore (Betty) Sulouff of Emerson; three grandchildren, Adam and Lindsay Soderdahl of Aurora and Michael Farwell of Polo; and one great-granddaughter, Zoe Farwell of Polo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Kim Farwell in infancy.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at McDonald-Allen-Grennan Funeral Home, Sterling with Judi Huseth, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Sterling, officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
