ROSCOE – Judith Anne Phoenix, 65, of Roscoe, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford.

Judith was born Dec. 4, 1944, in Morehead Minn., the daughter of Fritz and Edna (Anderson) Erickson. 

She was employed by Clinton Electronic, Loves Park.

She loved woodworking, bowling with friends, golfing, reading, and doing puzzles. Most of all, her love was to her family and grandchildren.
 Survivors include her two daughters, Tracy Phoenix of Machesney Park and Geri Phoenix of Roscoe; three brothers, Richard (Barb) Erickson of Minnesota, Dennis Erickson of Machesney Park, and Darrell (Karen) Erickson of Rock Falls; a sister, Sandra (Blaine) McClellan of Sterling; and two loving grandchildren, Samantha and Hannah. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Ray.
 Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main St., Roscoe.

Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machesney Park.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
