DIXON – Helen Marie Hoyle, 78, of Dixon, died Monday, Dec. 21, 2009, at Dixon Healthcare Center, Dixon.

Helen was born April 18, 1931, in Dixon, the daughter of Harold O. and Caroline M. (Fischbach) Bay. She married Frank Wesley Hoyle on May 9, 1952, in Laguna Beach, Calif. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Dixon. Helen enjoyed cooking and was a devoted wife and mother.

Survivors include her husband of Dixon; two sons, John F. (Nancy) Hoyle of Rockford and Mark (Becki) Hoyle of Fort Collins, Colo.; one sister, Pauline Campbell of Dixon; three grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Bay and Robert Bay.

Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Dixon, with the Rev. Frank Langholf, pastor, officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4, at the church. Arrangements were completed by Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, Dixon.

A memorial has been established to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Dixon.
