Kylie Brauer is a senior at Rock Falls High School. She is the daughter of Bill and Sharon Brauer. She has a brother Colten, 18. Kylie was selected as the school’s November student of the month.

Favorite class: Psychology because you learn about brains and why people have the problems they do. Biology II, because we get to go on a field trip to Northern Illinois University’s cadaver lab.

Top teacher: Mark Truesdell for psychology. I like the way he teaches. He tells you how it is and prepares you for college.

Extracurricular: Dance, student council, National Honor Society and ACE Club.

Paycheck: Subway in Rock Falls. I’m a sandwich maker and I like the people I work with.

After graduation: I’m probably going to Sauk Valley Community College to take the radiology program.

BFF: Lauren Bell, a RFHS graduate. She’s a cool person. We are alike in every single way. We both work at Subway. We like the same music, the same food, and our personalities are the same.

Hearts: Carrie Underwood, Lil’ Wayne, Megan Fox, Twilight, The Hills, swimming, and any Mexican food.

Darts: I’m afraid of spiders and snakes, Calculus is my least favorite class, and loud people and people who scream in the hallways make my blood boil.

Survival guide: Don’t get caught in drama and just do your work.

Useless knowledge: Calculus, I don’t want to use it again. It’s so hard.

Personal trivia: I skipped kindergarten.

Dream job: An actress, because I can’t act at all.

Trading places: Oprah Winfrey, it would be fun. She’s a well-respected woman and I would spend her money.

Trading spaces: I want to go to Italy. I’ve never been out of the country.

Read this: “Breaking Dawn” of the Twilight series, by Stephanie Meyer.

Shout out: My mom and grandma.

Aubree Dahler, is a senior at Rock Falls High School. She is the daughter of Loretta and Kurt Dahler. She has two sisters, Kelly Bailey, 19, and Destiny Dahler, 12. Aubree was selected the school’s October student of the month.

Favorite class: Biology II with Mindy Porter. I love to do science and learn about it every day. The topics are interesting.
