Red Cross wine-tasting fundraiser Dec. 11

ROCK FALLS – Lincoln Land Chapter of the American Red Cross is having its second annual Taste of Wine and Christmas fundraiser next week.

The event will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 11 at the Lawrence Mansion and Keefe House, 1017 Shore Acres Road.

There will be wine-tasting, hors d’oeuvres and desserts. A dozen Christmas trees decorated in different themes, such as Hershey’s and Coca-Cola, will be on display. People also can ride an outdoor train.

Parking will be available at the Arduini Boat Launch and shuttles will take people to the event.

Tickets cost $25 and are available at the Red Cross office, 112 W. Second St., or at the door.
The event will benefit the Red Cross’ general operating fund.
