PAW PAW – A Paw Paw man was killed and his passenger injured in a wreck early Friday.

Nathan Bakes, 21, was eastbound when he drove off Chicago Road and hit a tree. He was pronounced dead at Mendota Hospital. Passenger, Chad Albers, 22, also of Paw Paw, was taken to another hospital. His condition was not available Friday night.
