Melanie Thompson tossed in 21 points and Courtney Doty added 11 to lead Bureau Valley to a 53-45 victory over Spring Valley Hall Monday in Manlius.

The Storm (5-0) jumped out to an 18-8 lead after the first quarter to seize control, then withstood a rally by the Red Devils. Hillary Klein, who paced Hall with 15 points.

Morrison 47, Erie 35: Danielle Stralow and Christie Wiersema each scored 14 points as the Fillies earned a road victory over the Cardinals.

Erin Carney finished with eight points for Morrison and Sam Sumpton added seven.

For Erie, Mariah Pratt had nine points and six rebounds and Tess Burns added eight points and five boards.

Fulton 55, Mercer County 20: Kim Rogis scored 12 points and Paige Sanquist had 10 to lead the Steamers to a home win.
