LAKE VILLA (AP) – Lake County authorities say they arrested a 33-year-old school bus driver after she allegedly showed elementary school children sexually orientated animated video clips.

Lake County Sheriff’s Sergeant Christopher Thompson says deputies arrested April Jackson of unincorporated Lake Villa, and charged her with disorderly conduct.

The charge is a misdemeanor carrying a penalty of up to 30 days in jail and a $1,500 fine.

Thompson says the sheriff’s office received information that a Lake Villa School District 41 bus driver was showing the video clips on her cellular telephone to the children.

Police said Jackson would pull up to the school and have the children wait to exit the bus while she showed them the clips. The children were 7 to 11 years old.
