Tourism council announces three photo contest winners

DIXON – The Lee County Tourism Council Board of Directors has chosen three photos to be featured on the cover of the 2010 Lee County Calendar of Events.
The winning photos were from the Ronald Reagan Run during the Dixon Petunia Festival, submitted by Tim Appenheimer; Autumn on the Prairie at Nachusa Grasslands, submitted by Tyanne Wallin; and a barrel race at the Franklin Creek State Natural Area, submitted by Keith Spangler.
The calendar will be printed later this month and distributed throughout the county.
