ELDENA – Micheal Scott Arbuckle, 44, of Eldena, passed away Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at his home from a battle with cancer.

Micheal was born April 7, 1965, in Two Harbors, Minn., the son of LaVerne and Marie (Grignon) Arbuckle. He married Carol LaChat on Nov. 23, 1985, in Amboy. Micheal was a member of Sauk Valley Community Church, Dixon.

Survivors include two sons, Aaron Arbuckle of Eldena and Airman Nathaniel Arbuckle at Scott Air Force Base; one daughter, Whitney Warman of Eldena; his mother, Marie Arbuckle of Dixon; his stepmother, Vicki Arbuckle of Amboy; seven brothers; five sisters; and four grandchildren, Hannah and Ethan Arbuckle, Michael LeMay, and Landon Zinke.

He was preceded in death by his father, LaVerne; one brother, Robert Arbuckle; and one sister, Pamela Joe Arbuckle.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sauk Valley Community Church, Dixon, with the Rev. John Kalebaugh, pastor of The Refuge Church, Amboy, officiating.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.

A memorial has been established.
