The Mustangs (12-0) struck first on a 32-yard score from Vos with 4 minutes, 41 seconds remaining in the first quarter.

Orion (10-2) knotted the score at 7-7 on a 6-yard pass from James Matson to Jared Simler at the 7:46 mark of the third quarter.

The game-winner turned out to a 42-yard run from Vos with 4:48 remaining in the fourth quarter. Interceptions by Morrison defensive backs Will Bird and Kyle Janssen in the closing minutes preserved the victory.
