AMBOY – Barbara S. Litts, 63, of Amboy, died Nov. 7, 2009, at FHN Memorial Hospital, Freeport.
She had worked as a home health aide for more than 30 years.

Mrs. Litts was born June 29, 1946, in Bellville, the daughter of Dewey and Ethel Mae Wall. She married Elmo Litts on Aug. 21, 1976, in Amboy.

Survivors include her husband; children, Teresa (Martin) Gonzalez of Mendota and Debra Arellano of Amboy; stepchildren, Mike (Tonya) Litts of Dixon, Tony Litts of Harmon, and Amy (John) Varga of Harmon; sisters, Sandy (Bob) Snodgrass of Coulterville, Loretta (Wendall) Davis of Sparta, and Cathy (John) Salls of Albuquerque, N.M.; brother, Robert Hauck of Albuquerque, N.M.; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Carol Jean Westerman and Katherine Brammlette.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mihm-Jones Funeral Home, Amboy. Cremation rites will follow. Burial of cremains will be at a later date at Prairie Repose Cemetery, Amboy.
