MOLINE – Marion I. Whitver, 91, of Moline, formerly of Chicago, Coal Valley, and Rock Island, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at Bickford Cottage, Moline. She was employed as the personal assistant of Chicago attorney William J. Friedman, for more than 40 years.

Mrs. Whitver was born June 21, 1918, in Dixon, the daughter of John and Mahale (Seybert) Whitver.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Dixon. Arrangements were completed by Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory Ltd., Moline.

Memorials may be made to Arrowhead Ranch.
