Anti-tobacco program at schools

DIXON – American Cancer Society and the Lee County Health Department will sponsor anti-tobacco programs this week at St. Mary School, Dixon, and East Coloma Elementary School, Rock Falls.

Fifth-grade students at the schools will take part in an anti-tobacco program called “Day by Day We are Learning to be Smoke-free.”

The program will coincide with the Great American Smokeout on Thursday.
