ROCK FALLS – Nancy L. Bingham, 71, of Rock Falls, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at CGH Medical Center.

Mrs. Bingham was born June 9, 1938, in Chilhowie, Va., the daughter of Marvin and Fannie (Dean) Blevins. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Sterling.

Survivors include a daughter, Anita (David) Collins of Saltville, Va.; two sons, Everett (Penny) Howard of Sterling and Jimmy (Tresa) Howard of Decatur; two sisters, Elizabeth Dowell of Sterling and Charlotte (Duane) Stern of Rockford; three brothers, William (Sandra) Blevins of Sterling, Dennis Blevins of Morrison, and Carl Blevin of Rock Falls; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling, with the Rev. Michael Freeman of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Sterling, officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

A memorial has been established to Emmanuel Baptist Church, Sterling.
