Joseph Ortiz

STERLING – Joseph David Ortiz, 74, of Sterling, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at CGH Medical Center. He was a custodian.

Mr. Ortiz was born July 25, 1935, in Sterling, the son of Milton and Maria (Trujillo) Ortiz. He married Lucy McCullough. She preceded him in death in 1989.

Survivors include two brothers, Clifford (Susan) Ortiz and David J. Ortiz, both of Sterling; and three sisters, Rosie (Arthur) Rodriquez of San Antonio, and Mary Jimenez and Dora Thibado, both of Sterling.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and two brothers.

Private burial was at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling. Arrangements were completed by McDonald Funeral Homes.
