2 shot dead at Halloween party in Rockford

ROCKFORD, Ill. (AP) — Police in Rockford say two people were shot to death and twopeople were wounded at a Halloween party.

Rockford police say the shootings occurred early Sunday. Winnebago County Coroner Sue Fiduccia says 16-year-old Deangelo Link and 19-year-old Nathan Melendez-Torrance both died at Rockford Memorial Hospital.

Authorities say two others were wounded in the shootings.
