Elvira Muraira, 39, of Dixon; 7:38 a.m. Saturday; speeding, expired registration, DeKalb County warrant – failure to appear – theft; given notice to appear in court.

Daniel A. Woodard, 36, of Sterling; 2:46 p.m. Sunday; failure to register as a child sex offender; taken to Whiteside County Jail.

State Police

Catherine Z. McPherson, 44, of Sterling; 6:01 p.m. Wednesday at state Route 2 and Prairieville Road, Whiteside County; failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident; after stopping at the intersection, McPherson began to move forward and struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Wendell T. Ebbens, 63, of Sterling; no injuries reported; damage over $1,500 to both vehicles.

Stephanie Roman, 30, of Sterling; 9:01 p.m. Wednesday; no valid driver’s license, (expired), no insurance, failure to signal when required; given notice to appear in court.

Ashley M. Delhotal, 19, of Seatonville; 11:02 p.m. Friday at Lyndon Road, north of U.S. Route 30, Whiteside County; zero tolerance, unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor, unlawful transportation of alcohol, following too closely; given notice to appear in court.

Jose L. Galindo, 32, of Rockford; 4:52 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 39, milepost 98, Ogle County; unsafe tire; after the rear driver’s side tire blew, he lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, struck brush and a fence along the roadway; damage more than $1,500 to his vehicle and to 15 feet of fencing.

Antonio W. Barragan, 19, of Savanna; 11:42 p.m. Saturday at U.S. Route 52 and Park Street, Savanna; driving under the influence, unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor, no seat belt, driving with a suspended driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating a vehicle with a suspended registration; given notice to appear in court.

Sean M. Peck, 20, of Rock Falls; 9 a.m. Sunday at Polo and Grennan roads, Whiteside County; improper lane usage.
