MACOMB – Michael D. Swanson, 32, of Macomb, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at St. John Hospital Springfield.

Mr. Swanson was born Aug. 12, 1977, in Sterling, the son of Michael Swanson and Rita (Cooper) Keisling.

Survivors include his father, Michael (Norma) Swanson of Dixon; his mother, Rita Keisling of Washington state; four sisters, Jessica Russell of Hawaii, Gwen Meech of Rock Falls, and Sarah Considiene and Cyndel Considiene, both of Oregon; six brothers, Kenneth Swanson, Thomas Nelson, and Travis Swanson, all of Rock Falls, David Swanson and Joseph Adams, both of Dixon, and Alexander Swanson of Albany; five uncles; four aunts; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Swanson; and his grandparents.

Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling, with the Rev. Scott Porter of Abiding Word Church, Sterling, officiating.

Visitation will be from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at McDonald Funeral Home, Rock Falls.

A memorial has been established.
