WALNUT – Marian F. Olson, 81, of 105 Red Oak Road, Walnut, died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at Walnut Manor Nursing Home.

Mrs. Olson was born May 17, 1928, in Sterling, the daughter of Frank and Verna (Cox) Eberhardt. She married Harry Olson on April 15, 1950, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sterling. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Walnut.

Survivors include her husband; a brother, Alan Eberhardt, two sisters, Veronica Stolzoff and Eileen (Robert) Martin, and a sister-in-law, Joanne Eberhardt, all of Sterling; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Frank “Bub” Eberhardt Jr.

Prayer service will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Garland Funeral Home, Walnut, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, Walnut, with the Rev. Dan Wilder, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be at Walnut Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 5:30 p.m., with a prayer service at 4:30 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials have been established to Walnut Manor Nursing Home and Walnut Rescue Unit.
