Donald E. Bollman, 79, of Rochelle; 8:15 a.m. Friday on state Route 38 and Lincoln Highway, Rochelle; no seat belt, no valid driver’s    license; given notice to appear in court.

Anthony R. McBride, 32, of Franklin Grove; 12:11 a.m. Saturday at Flagg and Skare roads, Ogle County; driving under the influence, aggravated driving under the influence, driving with a revoked license, improper lane usage, disobeying a stop sign; taken to Ogle County Jail.

Scott M. Moen, 38, of Morrison; 12:34 a.m. Saturday at U.S. Route 30 and Round Grove Road, Ogle County; driving under the influence, speeding, illegal transportation of alcohol, no valid insurance; given notice to appear in court.

Brian W. Chapman, 28, of Sterling; 1:18 a.m. Saturday at First Street and First Avenue, Rock Falls; driving under the influence, failure to obey a stop sign, improper display of registration; given notice to appear in court.

George E. Schofield, 50, of Sycamore; 11:12 a.m. Saturday; no valid commercial license; given notice to appear in court.

Vehicle crash; 1:23 p.m. Saturday at U.S. Route 30 and Como – Lincolnway Road, Whiteside County; Nicole M. Sanders, 17, of Wilmington; failure to yield at a stop intersection.

Vehicle damaged; 2:22 p.m. Saturday at Interstate 39, milepost 93, Lee County; a semi lost debris from the load it was carrying and struck a vehicle driven by Jennifer M. Young, 26, of Pleasant Plains; damage was over $1,500; the driver of the semi has not been found.

Christopher Knutsen, 18, of Sterling; 3:39 p.m. Sunday at McCue and Science Ridge roads, Sterling; improper lane usage.

Sterling Fire

Automatic fire alarm; 9:52 a.m. Monday at 910 Woodburn Ave.; caused by construction work.

Smoke investigation; Monday; 10:43 a.m. at 311 First Ave., in basement; and at 11:09 a.m. at 307 a.m. First Ave. in basement; both caused by sewer testing.

Vehicle vs. pedestrian; 6:33 p.m. Monday at West Fifth Street and Avenue G; injuries reported.

Activated alarm; 7:27 p.m. Monday at Garden Circle Rock Falls.
