Two area communities are inviting kids to “trick-or-trunk.”

Thursday in Tampico, participants will decorate their car trunk or their truck bed, then trick-or-treaters will go from vehicle to vehicle, gathering goodies.

Prizes will be awarded for the most unique and scariest trunk.

If there is enough interest, games will be offered following the trick-or-trunk.

The event will run from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the baseball diamond on West Kimball Street west of Tampico.

To register or for more information, call 815-438-7985.

Evangelical Free Church of Mount Morris will sponsor a trunk-or-treat from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Watt parking lot, on the southwest corner of Kable Square.

In addition to trick-or-treating, there will be games and prizes.

For more information, call 815-734-4942.
