Thank you to all who gave food

This has been a challenging year for our food pantry at Rock River Christian Center. We have spent well over our budget purchasing food, had several donations, but still have trouble keeping enough food to meet the needs of our community.

Because of caring adults and young people, we have food again. On Oct. 10, we were blessed with a portion of food collected for “Stock Up Our Local Food Pantries Day.” We are so thankful for the students who worked so hard and to all who gave.

On Oct. 17, a group of young men, Cub Scout Pack 323, also collected food for the pantry. These young men and their leaders do an awesome job. Thanks again to all who gave.

Without help such as this, we would not be able to offer this much-needed outreach to our community. May God bless each of you for your generosity.
