On Oct. 2, the Newman Key Club held its eighth annual Bucket Brigade to raise money for the PADS Homeless Shelter.

In spite of the inclement weather, the generous citizens of the Sauk Valley donated $894.96 to this great cause.

On behalf of the shelter and our club, thank you very much.

Note to readers – Libby DeForest is the Key Club secretary at Newman Central Catholic High School.
