CHICAGO (AP) — A Chicago man charged with sexually assaulting two children with developmental disabilities has been ordered held on $500,000 bond.

A judge set the bond for 43-year-old Demetrious Hughes on Friday. Officials say he engaged in a sexual act with a 6-year-old boy and 16-year-old girl.

Prosecutors say Hughes allegedly abused the children in April while they were at their father's house.

He's charged with sexual assault and unlawful restraint.
