HARMON – A Rock Falls man died Sunday afternoon when his motorcycle collided with a pickup at the intersection of U.S. Route 30 and Harmon Road, the Lee County Sheriff’s Department said Monday.

Terrance Tyne, 53, was westbound on 30 with a passenger when he hit the pickup, driven by Chris Roberts, 47, of Dixon, Sheriff John Varga said in a news release.

Tyne was pronounced dead at KSB Hospital. Varga declined to release any information on the passenger, except to say it was a woman.
