Last chance
 for exhibit - DIXON – This is the last weekend to catch Dos Equis, a show celebrating the multiple dimensions of women.

The exhibit at The Next Picture Show, 113 W. First St., features original paintings, photography, textiles and fiber, prints, graphic illustrations, drawings and mixed media pieces. It ends Tuesday.

The gallery is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is free.

Cemetery walk - GRAND DETOUR – Ten of Grand Detour Cemetery’s “residents” are making a comeback  Sunday.

“Tales from the Tombs” are walking tours that begin at 1 p.m and continue every 20 minutes until 4 p.m. The walk lasts about an hour and features dramatizations by local residents.

St. Peter’s Church, 8225 S. Main St., will be open to visitors as well.

The cost is $5, with proceeds going to the church. The rain date is June 7.

‘Country Duo’ - FRANKLIN GROVE – Musicians Dave and Karen Gauer will do two shows at tonight’s Fifth Friday concert in the H.I. Lincoln Building, 136 N. Elm St.

Known as “The Country Duo,” the Gauers, now of Amboy, have been performing for almost four decades, in Nashville and elsewhere.

“This is a unique opportunity to bring artists with national ‘Top 40’ music experience to our area,” Fifth Friday director Jack Kelley has said. “I can guarantee that fans of traditional country music will enjoy this show.”

The shows are at 7 and 9 p.m. Tickets are $10.

Bike Rodeo - MORRISON – The Morrison Community Bike Rodeo runs from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot on Academic Drive between Morrison Junior High School and Southside Elementary School.

Children ages 3 to 16 will get “bike driver’s licenses” with their photos on them, then will drive an obstacle course and have their bikes inspected.
