Morrison Police

Information sought:  Friday evening and Saturday morning, at least four burglaries were reported in the areas of North Base, Prospect, and North Madison streets, and Hickory Hill Drive; vehicles were entered without force or damage; items taken included satellite radios, portable music devices, and cash; anyone with information is asked to call Morrison Police Department at 815-772-7659 or Whiteside County Crime Stoppers at 877-625-7867.

Whiteside Sheriff

Burglary arrests: 1:26 p.m. Friday for residential burglaries and thefts in rural Fulton between April 21-25; Jacob E. Davis, 20, and Timothy E. Nicholson, 19, both of Fulton; burglary to a building, theft; and two counts, residential burglary; both taken to Whiteside County Jail.

Sterling Police

Dog bite; 9:50 a.m. Sunday in the 800 block of West 10th Street; a 3-year-old was bitten on the head by a dog; the child was transported to CGH Medical Center emergency room, where she was treated for injuries to her forehead and scalp and later released; Whiteside County Animal Control responded to the scene to speak with the owners and observe the dog; Sterling Police are investigating the incident.

Rock Falls Police

Marsha H. Hussung, 50, of Rock Falls; 5:13 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of East Third Street; driving with a revoked driver’s license; given notice to appear in court.

Daniel R. Wise, 60, of Loretto, Minn.; 11:21 a.m. Saturday at First Avenue and East Fourth Street; failure to give information after striking property; improper right turn; taken to Whiteside County Jail.

Sherry M. Holland, 28, of Rock Falls; 1:41 a.m. Monday at Eighth Avenue and U.S. Route 30; no valid driver’s license, Whiteside County warrant, failure to appear; taken to Whiteside County Jail.
