DIXON – A second person has been charged in connection with the bludgeoning death of 28-year-old Todd E. Harn, found dead in a pool of blood on the floor in his Ashton apartment early Sunday.

His roommate, Kaylyn E. Gideon, 22, of 604 Brown Ave., Apt. 2, is charged with one count of obstruction of justice. She is being held on $100,000 bond after a court appearance this afternoon.

Eric M. Lemons, 28, of Ashton is charged with one count of first-degree murder. He is being held on $2 million bond.

According to the criminal complaint, Gideon allegedly gave cleaning supplies to Lemons to alter the crime scene around Harn's body.

Lee County Sheriff John Varga said Gideon called 911 when she discovered Harn's body about 7:30 that morning. He also said she was in the apartment at the time Harn was killed.
