Autopsy pending for Ashton man found dead Sunday: Sheriff's department calls death "suspicious"

ASHTON - The Lee County Coroner's office this morning is conducting an autopsy on a 28-year-old Ashton man who was found dead Sunday morning in his apartment.

Around 7:25 a.m. Sunday, the Lee County Sheriff's Department responded to a 911 call at 604 Brown Ave., Apt. 2, and found Todd E. Harn dead on the floor with a "considerable amount of blood," coming from his head, said Lee County Sheriff John Varga.

Varga said the death is "suspicious" and declined to say whether authorities have discovered a weapon. More information will be released today following an autopsy, he said
